Hounds of the Hunt

 The hounds are an elite task force on a mission from Hell—to hunt the spirits and demons who go bump in the night and cause trouble on the human plain. Hell really isn't so bad, mostly, and it's not what the humans think it is. God and Lucifer just had a disagreement about some basic morality. Minor details. Though the fight for the human realm has long since been over, Hell has the hellhounds to keep different Sups and demons in check because a balance between Heaven and Hell is imperative. The hounds have to keep too much of the supernatural world from being exposed a fragile human existence.

When the hellhounds go on the hunt, the creatures of the night shiver in fright.
